179-A camshafts are designed as a stage one upgrade for the popular Acura RSX Type-S.

These camshafts offer moderate performance increase and are an easy fit because they only require the stock valve spring to be used.

Designed specifically for the street enthusiast, the Kelford 179-A series cams provide a significant improvement in horsepower and torque when compared to stock cams, and are designed to use the OEM valvetrain without any upgrades.

The primary and intermediate lobes are fractionally larger and the main lobe features more area for increased mid-range and top-end performance. Gains of 30+ WHP have been achieved with good quality bolt on parts.
